After a lengthily standoff with police, the occupant of the home ended up igniting the house on fire, while still in the house.  He was rescued and transported to an awaiting Med Flight Helicopter with severe burns over about 20% of his body.  On my May 26, 2008.  The local news made it aware to the public, that the subject did pass away from injuries sustained at the fire.
