2nd Alarm Structure Fire. 10 Dumont Rd.
At 4:07 in the afternoon of Christmas day, Hudson Fire alarm received multiple calls for a structure fire with heavy smoke coming from a 2 story residential structure, in the south portion of the town, which is in a non-water district. Upon dispatch, the police department was also called and were first on scene, stating a fully involved structure. The first arriving engine tried an aggressive interior attack with no luck. The second due engine company from Hudson's central fire station, requested a working fire before they arrived on scene, and thus arriving on scene moments latter requested a 2nd alarm with tankers added onto the run card. Mutual aid was received by Nashua (2 engines and a Ladder), Auburn (tanker), Derry (medic), Londonderry (Tower), Merrimack (Engine), Tyngsboro (Tanker), Litchfield (engine and tanker), Private ambulance service in Nashua, and other chief units from surrounding communities.
